Originally established in 1959, this private course was redesigned in 1999, creating a beautiful course for the Bob Hope Classic Tournament. The new 37,000 sq. ft. Santa Barbara styled clubhouse opened in November 2009. The course is impeccably landscaped with mature, native trees; seven sparkling lakes; lush fairways and neatly trimmed greens. For 50+ years this course has been host to the Bob Hope Classic Tournament now known as The CareerBuilder Challenge.

There is a very large variety of single family homes and condos. The custom homes are located in Montero Estates and La Quinta Country Club Golf Estates. Custom home architectural styles vary from Spanish, mid-century modern and contemporary. Condos are offered in seperate gated neighborhoods called Country Club Estates Condos and The Villas of La Quinta. Most of the homes and condos that were built in the 1960’s and 1970’s have been renovated.
